Executive Director - Browning Rockwell

Over his 36-year career he has spanned a range of disciplines related to business development, international business, and project and technical management. He has founded and led several not for profit associations including the Emirates Solar Industry Association (ESIA), Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Associations (SASIA) and Solar GCC Alliance aimed at furthering the growth of solar energy in the Middle East

Technical Director - Christopher Klinga, P.E.

A 10 year veteran to the solar industry with an extensive background in solar installation design and operations as well as architectural solar product development.  Chris is a licensed professional structural engineer. In addition to his efforts with ASA he operates his own solar product development firm SolMotiv Design where he consults directly with the full value chain of both the PV and curtain wall industries.  Chris is a co-inventor on 3 solar technology patents as well as 3 pending patents.  Chris holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder.



EU Regional Manager - Renato Macconi

A 10 year veteran of the architectural solar industry as the founder of EnergyGlass, an Italian architectural solar glass manufacturing and consulting firm.  Renato has extensive experience in project feasibility analysis, technology selection and implementation. Renato understands the full value chain of BIPV and brings a strong background to the ASA team.

MENA Regional Manager - Anoop Babu

Driven by a passion for renewable energy over the last 8 years in the Middle East and Asia, Anoop is experienced in handling BIPV projects from small to large. Moreover he is focused on using his architectural creativity to incorporate photovoltaics into any building. He is experienced with coloured solar glass manufacturing (Kromatix) and contract manufacturing of solar panels. He regularly facilitates collaboration between developers, architects, consultants, manufacturers, PV installers and local regulatory authorities. In addition to his contribution with ASA, he is an appointed BIPV Solar Expert with a German Energy Consultant, GOPA International Energy Consultants Gmbh, Dubai, UAE.



North America Regional Manager ( Canada & USA) - Inga Ebert

With a Master in urban planning and a Master of Business Administration focused on renewables, Inga brings an interdisciplinary perspective to the ASA team. She has been involved with building-integrated PV since 2013 and has organized several successful BIPV events in Canada. In her MBA thesis “Developing the Market Potential for BIPV in Canada” she identified barriers and success factors and formulated recommendations to different stakeholder groups with the aim to promote the wider dissemination of BIPV technology in Canada. Having worked also for Natural Resources Canada’s CanmetENERGY research centre, Inga brings valuable experience and a large network in the solar and green building industry to the ASA team.

India Regional Manager - Rajesh Kulkarni

Rajesh has been an electronics engineering professional for last 22 years. For the past 17 years he has been engaged with Hensel Electric India Private Limited. Responsibilities include Head of Product Management, and Head of Solar Sales & Marketing for India, UAE and South Africa. Hensel is a subsidiary of Gustav Hensel GmbH Co. & KG, a 90 year old German pioneer in the field of electrical installation & distribution Systems.
